Air Asia ASEAN Pass: What is it, How to do, and My Setting to Maximize my ASEAN Trip in the Span of Two Weeks
So, there’s this ASEAN Pass Promotion going on in Air Asia website. What is it? It’s a Pass, both 10 credits and 20 credits ones, available to be changed into flight based on their credits value, in between ASEAN countries.
There are a few terms to note, such as no repeat flight, only valid for 30 days, and only bare necessities it can get the pass for 160 USD (10 credits) or 290 USD (20 credits), of which, if you convert it into 10 one-credit flights, each. But! There’s a lot of terms (normal for this kind of thing) that you must follow. Oh, and it wasn’t there when I bought it, but there’s a 10% discount of inbound flight (for visiting your starting ASEAN city from your country)
I plan to visit my friends around ASEAN, so I think, why not?
Update: As of 2019 Air Asia ASEAN Pass has been discontinued
A Review of the Graphing Calculator by Mathlab
Nowadays, the smartphone plays such an important role in our lives because it is practical in many areas. It improves efficiency for whatever I need it for. It is with me wherever I go. Out of all the functions my phone can do, being a calculator is one of the best!
I tutor science to students privately and I also teach Olympiad preparation in my high school, both of them need a lot of calculations that require calculators. The problem is that my students I teach don’t have a calculator. Weirdly enough however, they all have phones, Android phones to be exact, ah… these kids.
The normal calculator in your phone is okay for basic calculation. For complex math and physics however, a scientific calculator is a must. From all of the calculators available in the market, I definitely recommend Graphing Calculator by Mathlab. Since its size is only 1.39 MB, it doesn’t even take a minute to download.
Comparing Anti-Duplicate Software

How to Use Miro to Download Your Podcast and Youtube Videos
I like to subscribe to podcast and Youtube Channel. Usually I download the video at uni and watch it back home without internet connection. Before I know Miro, my routine can be written as these:
-
Subscribe to channel through RSS
-
Video links piled up on RSS
-
Go to uni > internet
-
Skim through RSS, download interesting videos from channel using IDM (exhausting process: play one video, download with IDM, choose dimension, rinse and repeat)
It’s a nice way to download one video, for many videos though, it is long and tiring process. I already go through google and forum recommendation to find the best software to quicken this process and haven’t gotten satisfactory result, until I find Miro.
