Nusa Dua Indonesian Restaurant
This is part of Photo-first-write-later travel posts.
What: Went to Nusa Dua to eat Indonesian food with friend
Where: Leicester Square, just a few minutes walk from Chinatown
Indonesian-styled Interior
The rijstafel is full-fledged Upperclass Dutch Indonesian-dining experience. Sate as appetizer is definitely not enough. Suggestions for first timer are gado-gado (or combo platter). nasi goreng komplit, or nasi padang.
Lamb gulai ! Duck gulai! Will definitely visit next time if someone’s visiting. Suggestion for first timer is maybe Rendang Daging. But all are delicious so just go with the flow.
For newcomer to Indonesian food definitely choose the set lunches for varieties. Vegetarian menu’s also available.
If you’re eating out in Indonesian restaurant, the beverage of choice is usually iced sweet tea.
Duck gulai (blurry to the max, so sorry)
Rendang, accompanied with chili/ sambal and rice
The Owner is also the owner of Wisma Indonesia.
Will also visit other Indonesian restaurants if I visit London.
