Walking in Woking

After months living nearby, at least I got the opportunity to visit Woking. One of many satellite cities for the capital, you can go to Woking from London with SouthWest Train (and sadly nothing else, as both Google Maps and Rome2Rio tell me).

Anyway, why do you need to go to Woking? There are two “main” reasons for me to visit Woking.

  1. HG Wells
  2. Shah Jahan Mosque

And I’ve fulfilled those two reasons, so all’s well in the world.

Tamora Pierce

Maybe a few of you have read any, Tamora Pierce is a young adult novel author with the premise that there is no adventure, young adult novels with girls as main characters. And hey, girls can also defeat dragon, be a knight, cast high scale magic just like boys, right? Then, She wrote Alanna: The First Adventure. The rest is history.

Made to-TV wuxia is a nostalgic memory for my generation in my country, Indonesia. I still remember the made believe swordfight in elementary school. Last week coincidentally I stumbled in a online forum talking about Condor Trilogy the novel, and this easily interested me just realized that in the online world somebody had translated the novels.
