Nevertheless, I tweaked this a little bit.

Nowadays, business has been getting easier and easier, especially for us consumers who can buy everything with just one click then just wait for packed and delivered goods to come to our house. This way of trading, although easier, give the disadvantage of not knowing and seeing how real “traditional” trades were executed. Banking analyst Conor Woodman wonders about this too and set a challenge to go around the world in 6 months try to do “traditional” trades, with camera following his movements to be aired as documentary.

Designated in a fictional island called Sheylan, the premise is that the people there are suffering from drought and war and you, as a rookie in a team of UN experts learn things needed to help it recover and became self-sufficient as before.

International Day for the Eradication of Poverty is celebrated every year on October 17. Officially recognized by United Nation in 1993, the first event actually took place in Paris, France in 1987 when 100000 people gathered on the Human Rights and Liberties Plaza.

First Impression: Miniature Earth

Usually people feel tired and do not really grasp the meaning of behind a statistical report, because the number is usually very big, and people cannot go through a list of very big numbers. In Miniature Earth, this issue is, can I say, “solved”, because we simplified the number to 100. With that, people can imagine more clearly about numbers presented to them, what the number means. There is no need for people being overwhelmed by numbers, and by that, people can really see the various issue in real world. It shows the reality of the world that we live on, the harsh part of our reality. It also shows people that we live in a divergent world. There are more people in this world, with different aspect of life other than “ours”.
